There's Nothing wrong with the Muslim reciting ruqyah for himself. Which is permissible; in fact it is a good Sunnah, for your Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be on him) recited ruqyah for himself, and many of his Companions recited ruqyah for by themselves.
